How Does The Invisalign Process Work?
Invisalign uses a set of aligners to gently straighten your teeth over time. The first set is closest to your original teeth orientation while the final aligner will lead you to a completely straight smile. You’ll wear each set of aligners for around 22 hours a day and move to the next set of aligners every one to two weeks, depending on Dr. Joe’s recommendation. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position. For the best results, try to only remove your aligners when eating, drinking, and brushing your teeth. You should clean the aligners each time you brush your teeth to maintain excellent oral health and prevent buildup on the trays.
